My name is Kara B. Krafty, and Ive been called a Jill of all trades. I started this site because I wanted to share my many interests with busy professional women and help them by providing simple guides on everyday topics. As an attorney and college instructor, I understand how difficult it is to balance a busy career with a meaningful personal life. A: No, my real name is Kara Kate Boonsirisermsook. Thats 24 letters. For obvious reasons, I chose to go with Kara B. Krafty as my pen name.

Q: What is Kara B. Kraftys background?

A: I grew up in Orange County, and graduated from UCLA in Communications Studies, cum laude. I attended the UCLA School of Law, and immediately after law school worked as a Deputy District Attorney in Southern California. I then moved to Washington DC and worked as a Financial Advisor and Stock Broker at a major brokerage house. I currently work as an attorney in employment law in the public sector in Northern California, and teach paralegal studies and criminal justice courses to college students.
